Well, it's 2012.
Let's hope that this year as a minimum we can get some new info from PP.
Even better, let's get the new Quantum forms out & get a release for set 6!

Yes please! From a new player from this year. The DMZ's did some good!
Any news would be great. Either I am fooling myself for hedging my bet or the naysayers are right, but I think Monsterpocalypse will get its due this year.
How much would you pay for a mini-DMZ for set 6? Your factions Morpher, two of each unit, and three buildings. If you buy all six you end up with two of each building. So four large based figures and eight small ones for what? $17.50? $22.50? All six for $150? Would you beat me to Now! and BIJ cases if they released this?
Having checked IMDB I predict nothing will happen till 2013 when the movie is due to come out, as our much loved game continues to be strangled by lawyers.
I hope we get the new Quantums released out to general tournament prize support and some new map packs put out to give us some more options for play.
All Hail Cthugrosh, Greatest of the Lords of Cthul.
I hope DMZ sold well enough for sets 4 and 5 to be released in a similar format in the summer. But, yeah, no new sets until the movie releases or just before.
I'll not take yer perfectly reasonable 2013 movie window talk as naysaying. Simply gives me a year to catch up with collecting figures. Meybe put together that vacuum-form map board cover thingy. Either way, as long as 'holding pattern' or 'at movie time' doesn't really mean 'we're just trying to decide who gets to squeeze the feeding tube and divvy up the estate' I'm okay, it's much more positive then the other chatter around.
Unfortunately the latest news from Hollywood is grim - according to Parallel Universe, a number of anticipated film projects got the plug pulled on them due to disappointing profits in 2011, and if the studio is getting cold feet, well Steven Spielberg's "Robocalypse" may well be seen as competition for our baby. As far as I'm aware it's entirely consistent with Hollywood's MO to sit on the rights for two years, only to crank out a crappy low-budget picture which is never released, just to fulfill the barest minimum obligation of a carefully-worded contract that lets them minimize the amount of money which is completely wasted accomplishing absolutely nothing, rather than spend even more money trying to salvage some of the investment if they aren't sure they can stop it from losing even more than it already has. This is the way these people think, and they care not one whit whether the public will be disappointed unless the public has money to fork over.
Team Covenant name: Mars Elemental.
You know, like an Earth elemental....only from Mars!.
