    Default Paint mixture shading question

Pretty simple question here, just looking for others' opinions:

For my Menoth Choir, the sashes on the staff and belt have a red hue for contrast. I used 2:1 Sanguine Base to Khador Base. Now my question is, since those are mixed, which should I base the shading and highlighting off of?

For the record, my current highlighting and shading for the Sanguine base are
Hightlight: 1:1 Sanguine Base to Sanguine Hightlight
Shade: 4:1 Sanguine Base to Gnarls Green

Any input on either a shade or highlight would be very appreciated!

You might consider adding a bit of Hammerfall Khaki for a further highlight into your mix. It keeps it from looking too pink, as with white, and is a neutral tone.

For the shade, just add a bit more Gnarls Green, or a even mix of Umbral Umber, and Sanguine Base.
