Wicked work. The fellow with the baby/child skeleton is just downright terrifying. Superb job on your miniatures sir!
Thanks Zreef for your tutorial and pics. I just got in to Cryx and saw your mini's and had to try that look. I picked up the battle box and gave it a go. I had to use my Iphone camera so its not really perfect on macro.

The water effect is meant to be swampy but i think it came out alittle to light on the jacks, so I'll need to remedy, but you never know till you try and you can't improve with out some mistakes to fix. Any way loved your look and wanted to try it out.
Very nice! Your turned out great! I think they are a bit darker than mine, but I think I actually like yours more! I am glad you were able to reproduce the result, I try to put up tutorials for all the stuff that I do so people can follow along if they want.
I actually have a few things I need to finish up painting for my cryx lists and post some new pictures (I have been side tracked on my lava troll project, which was just supposed to be mulg and more recently side tracked from that with polar dwarves)!
Just picked up some more minis to fill out monty's 35pt and 50pt tiers, hope to have them done soon ...

This guy was a pain in the butt to glue together, but I am happy with the pose .... but never again metal crab jack!

@MadJack
So a few things helped me out here, 1) the jack is actually balanced and will happily just stand like that on the base (dumb luck and not by design) and 2) the angle of the leg actually allows for a sizeable contact point and 3) large blobs of glue
There was no easy way to pin the thing ... how durable it will be ... time will tell! I figure as long as I pick it up by the body and ask my opponents to be careful all will be well
Yeah, I know that there's no way I'd be able to pin those legs, but I also know some people who can seemingly pin a pin, so I never make assumptions. If it does end up coming off, you can always try to do what I ended up having to do with one of my Stalkers and use the ends of the legs themselves as pins - carve a small groove into the base the right size for the feet to fit in.
The highlighting on the robes is great! I love the heavy bronze theme. I think a few models with touches of blighted gold would help add subtle variety to the theme. Keep it up =)
