Severius painted today for wifey!

This model I painted up today...took a good 4-5 hrs but when the wifey said she would play a game of WARMACHINE who am I to stop her...and since I didn't have a good warcaster for her to play with I painted this up in a rush effort to field a all painted force to better....errrrr....draw her in. Very nice work on the whole army. I like the subdued tones, it look battle hardened without being too grimy. The reds and their shading are especially nice but I think it's the metalics I like the most. Could you give us a quick round up of your technique?

GW chainmail, wash devlin mud, reapply chainmail on raised open areas.

Well my wife just whooped me page 5 style, And the best part is she really enjoyed herself!!!
I'm pretty happy about it considering she said she wants to play alot more now!

Yep nice work! For a rush job thats really great. I don't think I could ever draw my significant other in though.... not even with a Crystal Brush standard paintjob.
