Places to play in San Francisco?

Anyone know of good Warmachine/Hordes stores in San Francisco? I'm moving there soon for work and would hate to give up such an awesome hobby!

No replies yet? Oh well . . . Endgame in Oakland and Games of Berkeley seem like your best options (both easily accessible via rapid transit, if that's pertinent). It's been 4 or 5 years since I lived in SF, but back then I don't remember much in the way of game stores apart from those two.

Theres also gamescape on divisadero that does at least one day of wmh gaming a week...

Its a bit of a commute, but we have bunch of players at Game Kastle in San Jose. I personally commute from Redwood city to play there. End-Game is cool and has some of the best scenery i have ever played on at a game store, but i dont thisnk they actually sell PP models.

The bay area is pretty awesome for warmachine/Hordes

Thanks for the advice! I'm moving this week, and while San Jose is unfortunately a bit far for me to go considering I don't have a car, I'll definitely take a look at the other place.

There is a regular Warmachine group at Endgame. Games of Berkeley sells PP products, but to my knowledge there's no WM/H community there.

Welcome to SF. We play every Sunday from 11:00 to 6:00ish @ Gamescape, located at 333 Divisidero St. If you get here soon you should be in time to join the league.

Endgame is also pretty easy to get to with BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from SF. I go there when I can and they play on Wednesday night.

I'm in the same situation as the OP. Just moved to SF for work, and been looking around for a store to play, but they all close so early. I get out of work at 6, so it's not realistic for me to go to Endgame or Gamescape and expect to get a game in, since they both close at 7..

Anyone know of stores that are open until 10 or so? I know there are a few game stores in Berkeley, but no idea about the size of the play group, or anything like that.

What days do you work? We have WM/Hordes on Sundays from 11-8. Also, last I checked, Endgame's gaming night is after hours til 10 or 11. I'd recommend calling the store.

Game Kastle is open until 10 everyday, and they have a room which often stays open even later. They also have tons of gaming space; W/H day is on Tuesday usually with 4-5 games going, as well as 2 RPG's, a board game demo night taking up 4 tables and all that only uses about 2/3 of the space.
