I still love my legion, but I got a screaming deal on some trolls and I always wanted to try the faction even though I didn't know much about it. Some people I know got me turned on to more fluff and I just couldn't deny the awesomeness that is trolls.
Right now its all piles of pewter!

All the celebs are there...Madrak, Janissa, Skaldi, Horthol, Mulg...

Also have a Mauler Extreme, 5 Long Riders, a Bomber and a Blitzer in pieces currently.
And so the madness begins. 30 days to fully painted??

Sat down and put sand on all 60 something bases last night. Basecoat will happen today hopefully, as long as all the sand is dry...

Khaki mixed with white then washed with Bootstrap Leather

Based on the over-spray, I was wondering if you airbrushed the base coat. I love me some trolls and it looks like yours are going to be beautiful.

Yep, I've still got quite a lot ahead of me, hopefully I can still get everything done when I want to...
I did just order 4 boxes of runeshapers to build up for pdoomy tier.

Yep, it was trollblood base first, then a half and half mix of trollblood base/highlight.

Dude this is fantastic! The skin on Doomshaper is just superb. Can't wait to see how this whole army looks and it seems like your really smashing through the workload.

Have you thought about maybe doing some OSL for the runes on her or Doomie? I feel like just a little around the bright colors would give some amazing dimension to your already amazing work.

Progress got super slowed by some late breaking news with my work situation and a possible relocation. And a couple tournaments that stole my weekends. Went 2W-0T-2L with my trolls though so far. Not doing too bad...
New deadline for everything to be done is now the April 16th for Adepticon...

phenomenal progress, even with a deadline shift and other life issues creeping to steal the glory. Really like how doomies face came out, and the freehand - very solid.
