I know there was one in Poughkeepsie, let me do some research. In the meantime, use the handy PG Locator to see if there's one near you, they might know more!

Dragons Den in Poughkeepsie NY. There is a small group there, they play on Thursdays. There is Kiwin Games in Catskill as well. If you are looking for a game locally, shoot me a message. I live Walden and every night is WM night in my house.
I'm moving up to that area in August and I was thinking about opening up a small store. How is the interest there?
There are about 4 of us that play consistently with a few more sprinkled in every once in a while. For the most part we are all fairly new, starting around early December.
I work in Woodstock (10 mins from Saugerties) but I game up in East Greenbush - about a 45 minute drive from Saugerties. Store is called Grimfoe Games.
Sorry to ressurct this thread, but I had a question about the Dragon's Den in Poughkeepsie. I work in Peekskill and would be nearby for weekday gaming if there is an actual night for WM. I went up there once a little less than a year ago, but there weren't really any players. Has that changed? Is there actual interest in the store for WM?

YEa they do actually i play down @ toy wiz in nanuet NY. which is about 45-1hr from P-keepsie. But i know that they just started up doing between 35-50 pt tournies
We have 4-6 every Wednesday weekly at the D-Den. We have also been having small Steamrollers once every other month. The same guys also show up on Thursdays, so come on by. If it is a trip for you then I would suggest Wednesdays as that is the day we can make certain you can get an opponent.

Also my basement is open for gaming every night. It is in Walden.
Awesome! Amazingly enough its actually about 45 mins from where I work, I thought it was a lot closer. The problem with my job is I never know when I'm getting out. I'm thinking maybe in a week or two I may be able to swing a night to come up and game. What are the normal times for wed and thur?
Chris, I believe we've tried to hook up before. The difficulty lies in the fact that you're over the river and makes for a longer trip home and we both have families.

We are around from 6pm to 9pm on Wed and Thurs. 50pt Steamroller this weekend from 12pm to 6pm, details in the Unofficial events.
Great news. Given that I usually work till 5 -6 and it's about a 40 min drive up it looks like its doable. Right now I'm taking a class which keeps me from getting home till 10pm twice a week, but once that's over with in may I should be able to get one night a week for gaming. As for this weekend, I'd love to but Saturday gaming is out as I can't get Saturdays off. Look forward to eventually getting up there and meeting new people.
