What do to against EVlad

Just looking over EVlad+ Heavy Cav combo and thinking whats our best options against it? EVlad is tough to assassinate with his might of kings. I think our normal ignore the heavy armor and assassinate the caster will be tough as the Cav under Vlad's feat can be tough.

I guess best options are kill the Cav and then go after Vlad.

One shot him? '

knocking him down means to you auto hit on melee attacks.so an AFG or Banshee( with phantom hunter on Banshee thanks to Kaelyssa to ignore LoS ), slams and throws into him.

also remember BatttleMages under Rahns feat that Crit knock down. and can drag him into your team for a warjack to destroy.

it doesnt matter how good your defenses are if you are getting auto hit.

Phantom Hunter and Banshee is a really good combo, needs a 10 to peg Vlad, but if it does you can typically call it game. Banshee also threats further with its gun than Vlad's cav do.

Last 2 times I played vlad, I played Ravyn and Kae both. I was able to out attrition him. with Kae I took out the cav with invictors and halbs ( used feat to get the alpha strike) then tore down the rest of his army so I could assasinate him with my army (sucked off camped focus with Kae, and literally threw everything including the kitchen sink at him to put him down.

Same kinda deal with Ravyn, take out Cav with stormfalls, rip down rest of the army, throw everything i have left at vlad.

Bait out his feated charge with a disposable unit and ignore the buffed models and start playing attrition against the unbuffed models. You are going to loose something to his feat; just make sure that you are the one who choses what it is.

I don't have arcanists with Ravyn until 50, but in the Kae match, yes. lol
