And a lot of nerfing on our side (Warmachine?) is only subjective. All 'Jacks were buffed with no more being disabled. And 'Jacks in general hit more accurate than beasts.

Yes promoted as fully compatible, but at first Warmachine and Hordes was played in different leagues. Some of the older guys might remember back in the day how beasts really stomped jacks, when we lost movement you couldn't even move, not even turn. If a system was destroyed, it was gone, as being a nice terrain piece somewhere on the battlefield. We had a major disadvantage against Hordes back in the day, then with MK 2 things turned out a little better, it still feels that jacks has it worse off losing systems in terms of effects and what warmachine players have to do to get it back.

Yes nerfing is subjective, they made a few models "better" change the rules around a bit (I still liked the trencher's bayonet charge better, think it would have been awesome if you had Flinn with them now), the nerfing I'm talking about is just pure removal of abilities. Granted the Thunderhead was INSANE back in the day PP really clipped his fangs. I think if he still was his MK 1 version he would probably pawn the DJ in one on one. Also for those who might remember Centurion's locking Kador jacks and smashing them into bits, Darius's bots completely locking disabling a jack (if they still had it to this day we could almost entirely disable a behemoth...lol), took away Darius' and gain "2 movement...."yes he is overpowered every faction is complaining now lets drop his jack point and his speed and lets not have him repair any already non destroyed jacks and switch out jackhammer". If we had Darius like he was in MK 1 you could take one hammersmith and potentially total your opponents army. Yes he was "a bit" scary but, but nerfing whent overboard on him, you whippersnappers might not remember this but when we placed Darius on the table the other side trembled in fear sometimes leaving a small puddle. I'll repost this here: At the start of the year other factions where asked if they were to remove Cygnar's crutches what would it be? 90% of the other factions responded "Darius" ....thats how bad he had it.

I suspect for some MK1 players still posting on here, we knew that come Mk 2 what models would probably be changed but looking at how some models just completely got nerfed into the ground, so much that rarely even see table fielding in Mk 2 is just a crying shame, the Adept Gun Mage being probably the most noticeable. I cant even remember the last time I have actually witnessed a triangulation happening. In the last 2 years of playing in tournaments I have only seen Haley, eStryker, eCaine pitch up. I'm the only one in the tournament who actually played eStryker and Darius. Cygnar's last highest ranking in our tournaments was in 7th place Kara and eHaley list.

My friend plays Mercs he has about 80% of all the mercs. In the last tournament he packed up his mercs sold them and bought Skorne, he says there its absolutely ridiculous that mix warmachine faction can not deal with the variety that beasts has, he has to go head to head with Thaggy beasts army that whips his Magnus jack list like its a walk in the park and then he has to compete against stealth heavy warbeasts with his Dominiao army.

eh, I think this is a local variation. My usual mercs player gives me a damn hard time, but Skorne (probably due to plenty of practise) I'm beating at 2-1 ratio these days (last year 5-3, this year 4-0).

I've managed triangulations in fun games and a few in tournaments, although not, I'll admit, against opponents who've seen it before. And when I head off to the UK Masters, I'll be taking pStryker, eNemo and Kraye.

I agree that the fury mechanic seems better than the focus one, and their healing is likewise annoying. But it's handle-able.
