Saeryn Tournament list at 35/50

This is the main-list i've been running for the past two weeks:


Saeryn
Angelius
Scythean
Sereph
Shredder


Striders + UA
Spell Martyr x 1
Shepherd x 2


At 50 points I add:
Angelius
Shredder
Deathstalker
Forsaken
trade a shepherd for a second spell martyr.




-I really want a 2nd shredder and spell martyr in 35 points but there isn't room. It's been fun choosing when to use my one arc node, and whether or not to sacrifice my tenacity battery for a 16" blight bringer.


-Striders are my absolute favorite legion unit right now. They can cause massive casualties vs low DEF (breath stealer + aim against higher DEF) and can CRA heavy targets or objectives. Their speed and high DEF makes them amazing at jamming up the works when I need to, and hunter compliments eyeless sight really well. Did I mention that they're fast? They were in Khador's deployment zone turn 2 killing mortar crews, then reforming back into the forest....so fun.


-Overall, it's a really fun list to play. It's had alot of success with assassination and objective destruction scenarios. Really bad matchup against Khador WGIDS for their staying power in control zones, but super DEF sucks for just about everybody. I also foolishly tried to assassinate eMadrak rather than going for scenario in a Destruction game...not sure what I was thinking there. I would compliment it with an eLylyth gunline for two-list tournaments, add Kallus or pThag as a third.


Your thoughts? I'm especially looking for opinions of bad matchups that I should be avoiding

I like your list a lot. I'm starting to play Saeryn, and I'm curious to see what units work well with her and what not. I was thinking of taking hex hunters, but you're so right. Striders are awesome, and taking death stalkers too sounds like it would be a fun list to play. Have you had an opportunity to play this? Let me know how it went, will you please?
