I just finished up Megalith and a handful of wolds before L&L. They are all pretty sloppy, because I popped em all out in a week. I'm going to pull the "I'll touch them up later" card on them.

His base is not finished and I managed to get some static grass on his cape. Whoops. He actually needs some serious retouches.
The skin tone on those beasts....so weird...but somehow...it works! Very unique looking army you got going here. I would love to see it on the tabletop. After years of painting grimy, dark, evil looking armies I have become very attracted to color and this force satisfies.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it. It was a good break from doing Khador stuff. I'm nearly done with most of the stuff I intend to paint.

Those are Sliflor/Mininatur spring flower tufts, which are repackaged and marked up in the US by army painter and a few other companies.
Yep. It's a super easy to use product that adds a lot of texture and variety to bases. I am really happy with how the bases came out for this army. They are really simple to do and look interesting enough.
I use a light wall spackle to either give some texture or form some terrain. Then, after painting everything up, I hit the base with a saturated light brown, give it a black ink and then add in some green and red tinting. Finally, I apply green static grass, the tufts of meadow flowers and the green underbrush in clumps.
Some bases also get sculpted mushrooms or bits from a WHFB dryad sprue. It only took one box of left over to get branches on most of my heavies and other standout models.
Your stuff is amazing, I feel really lucky to have seen these in person at Lock and Load a few weeks ago. I just wish I could have seen more of the collection than just what you had on the table.

your style is unique and tubular
Holy hell the star cloak... FANTASTIC. So used to seeing blue-purple backdrop to stars, the nebula look is very refreshing and unique. Great great job!
Great stuff as usual, but I especially like Rorsch. The texturing on his coat is fantastic.
Nice work!

Love the eKrueger pose. I've been theorizing what I want to do with him, and mine is totally going to be running sideways up a wall. Hopefully with dead Menites. Grayle looks great too, leaving the armor mainly the base color and the Wolves' mask helps tremendously.
I'm really glad that you dudes liked this stuff and even more stoked that it's inspiration to some of you. I still have a Shadowhorn and some Skinwalkers to wrap up. I think that's going to be it for awhile. Hopefully I'll add a fulcrum at some point and a few more casters.
I also plan to sculpt some animus and upkeep markers as well as finish a few more templates for the druids and Mohsar.
This is a great idea. I actually just picked up a lot of Menoth stuff and I can probably snag a crow from one of the wracks. Thanks!
Your style is very unique and I must say damn awesome. I love bright saturated colors myself but have yet to grasp how to go about painting in that style. Might take a few schemes from your models! I'm wondering what paint brands do you use?
I use three lines. The turquoise and orange are done using P3 Arcane Blue and Heartfire, respectively. I also use a ton of Citadel washes as well as their metalics. The majority of the other stuff is Vallejo Game Color. When undercoating I lay down a gray primer and then drop some general highlights with Citadel Foundation Dheneb Stone. I sometimes shade with the airbrush as well, for instance the WoO had blue acrylic artists ink sprayed upwards to catch the fur trim on their cloaks.
So I plan on grabbing eBaulder at some point, and I think gatormen under his feat sounds like a sweet idea. Here's some gators gaitin:

I should share more WIPs. Here's some finished Gators along with a Shadowhorn and nearly finished skinwalkers

Very nice work. Love the air brush work. I need to get my brush up and running again.
Hey guys, glad you're enjoying these dudes. Here's some WIP stuff.
I may have gone a bit crazy with the Griffon. We'll see where he ends up.

Best Ravenloft Barbarian ever!
It's almost like they are 3-D oil paintings. Love the contrast!
Looking forward to seeing more from you.
