Default Contesting the SR 2012 objectives

    hi guys,

i m a bit confused about the sr objectives. not the generic ones but the special artifices on the last page of the sr rules.

can those contested by anything else than warcasters and does it matter if they are contested? as they can only be controlled by a warcaster warlock if no other warlock/warcaster is within 4" of that objective.

this way of controlling kinda implies for me that a contesting trooper model, jack/beast or solo would not matter. but after rereading i m not so sure anymore. can anyone explain me the concept?
would a caster still count as controlling even if sth. else would be contesting?

the rules might be written as clear as possible, however i m kinda unsure as i m not a native speaker.
Painted models do 15% better in game than non-painted models, that's just science!

Any model can contest an objective, but only a Warcaster or Warlock may control those types of objectives.

how do you move them? On the card it says :

A player controls an objective if his warcaster/
warlock is within 4˝ of it and no enemy models contest it.
Objectives cannot be targeted or damaged during the first turn of
the game and cannot be moved (cannot advance, and cannot be
placed, pushed, slammed, or thrown) except during activation.

It's the ''except during activation'' that bothers me. Sorry if it sounds stupid but I don't understand how you can move it or advance it at all. It has no speed and if it is during activation, the activation never implies moving on any of them.

It normally doesn't move, however, the Guidon Bearer objective, for example, has rules that allow it to be placed during its activation.
