Huh?

Again, huh? These hit the shelves two weeks ago.

Light warjacks plastic models.
WARMACHINE/Hordes no more.
Front Page:
Due to rising manufacturing and shipping costs Privateer Press will be increasing the MSRP on our Formula P3 paints from $3.00 to $3.50 MSRP effective March 1, 2010 (PIP 93019 through 93082). The upcoming price increase will not affect Formula P3 washes or the Formula P3 Faction Paint sets which will remain at their current MSRPs of $3.50 and $17.99 respectively. Even with the price increase, we believe our customers will find Formula P3 paints to remain the best in both value and quality available today.
In addition, due to production problems and delays with Chinese manufacturers, Privateer Press will be pushing back the release of the following plastic kits: PIP 31070 Firefly Light Warjack, PIP 32059 Exemplar Cinerators, PIP 32068 Vigilant Light Warjack, and PIP 34070 Ripjaw Light Warjack. While we apologize for the setback, we are determined to ensure that these products meet our exceptional quality standards before releasing them to the public. New release information will be announced as soon as it is available.
The above is always just my 2 Fury. If you're already worried about passing your threshold check, just don't take it and move on.

What's kind of amazing is that no one has pointed out that the brief descriptions given state that the product codes are for specific jacks and not multi-jack kits.
Not that that means anything definitive, but it may be an indicator that the lights will remain individuals.

No, I wouldn't be surprised either way either, but I'd certainly be annoyed if they are individual blisters like the Retribution lights. Good thing I acquired enough crap from the good old days when PP was noticeably cheaper than GW, and since them from people quitting, that I don't feel the need to ever take a dime out of my pocket for a model again. I don't even play a good chunk of the stuff I have (particularly the stuff acquired at a fraction of retail cost from disgruntled folks on bartertown), so I'll just trade for whatever new shiny catches my interest. It may take a while before people are actually trading the newer stuff, but I have more models than time to play with them as it is, so I can wait.![]()

pretty sure PP's commented on this before that the lights would indeed remain blisters, mostly because they're would simly be an overabundance of parts for the light jack kits to make it feasible Retail price wise. unless you want to pay closer to heavy jack prices for your plastic lights?

I saw this and was sad to see it, but on the other hand I am glad they are waiting in order to get them right.
I haven't been disappointed in anything Privateer has released in a very long time.
I will still wait....

I wonder if they missed the all important "get everything done before all of China shuts down for New Year celebrations" deadline for the Firefly, pushing everything back.
I was upset that they were making those things in China. One of the things I always liked about PP was that their models were made in the USA and not overseas like GW and Wizkids.
Chris
Well, a $0.50 increase in paint isn't a big deal.
I am sad about the Firefly being pushed back...
Let's not get into that, as it's venturing into politics, which is a no-no.
I do not work for Privateer Press. I am a volunteer. They don't send me paychecks, I don't have a desk in some corner of the warehouse, and I do not have Matt or Jason's phone numbers. I don't even live in the same time zone. If you ask me something related to how they do things, I'm probably going to refer you to Simon, Doug, or the 'email Privateer' option on the front page.
I would like to point out that GW models are produced in Memphis, TN as well as in England.
Their books are printed in China, but then, so are PPs.
wow...congratulations...you're a cheapskate...would you like a free medal?
privateer models are better than they used to be, they're putting out better rules than they used to and, as per this threads subject, they're putting more effort into quality control...
and you're glad you don't have the honour of supporting that?
I think we're done.
