Instead of wishing for crazy ARM spells we'll never get, why not something more realistic. Arcane Shield is nice and straight forward, and stacks onto all our jacks and units nicely. Even the Avalnacher looks good when it can stand in a zone at ARM 24.

When it comes to spells, though, they depend on two factors - FOC stat, and role. I would like to see the model/unit gains spell that Rancor suggested, though, regardless of his FOC.

When making Captain Olghrd, these are the spells I went with:

Storm Wall: Ranged weapon protection, plus the chance to bounce AoEs back on the bad guy. Nice.
Veil of Mists: Cloud effect that doesn't block our LOS? Yum. It gives pathfinder too? Sh-boing!
Submerge: Quick, easy self-defense spell.
Calamity: A buff for the entire army.
Hex Blast: Zap away pesky upkeeps.

...but I'd settle for Shae's spell list. Or Amon's. Or Reznik. Or eVlads. Or...

Farstrike also does not exist as a spell.

Snipe does the same thing, but it is not called Farstrike.

Farstrike also works in different ways, namely it's not an upkeep and targets just one model.

You could give General Lightbulb a spell that was named something else which gave model (or even model/unit) Submerge effect for a turn. But, like... the original dude with Submerge is a crocodile who likes to lurk in the swamps. Hence the animus.

The warcaster I made was a riverboat captain. I also went with the theorem: Grundback=earth, Madhammer=fire. So Olghurd=water. That also informed his spell list, hence a SPELL version of Submerge. Veil of Mists, and a SPELL version of Wall of Storms.

Well I don't know about crocodiles, but salamanders are pretty awesome at underwater construction works.

I know I'd like to see in a feat, I call it earthquake: you knock down all enemy models in your control area and apply a debuff like landslide dose. Project your vast Dwarven anger across the obnoxious long legs of the enemy. 'sides that all I can think of would be to give him telekenisis, a spell to beat stealth and maybe an upkeep spell that turns a unit/him self/a jack incorporeal. Combine that with the usual high damage and armor of the Rhulfolk and you've got a deadly dwarf of the field.

Oh, and an ogrun warcaster would be cool as well.

Given that Kreoss' version is more powerful than Barnabus' (thanks to the non-amphibious restriction on Barney's feat), there's no reason Awesome couldn't have a version which is a step up from Kreoss.

Hmm, my favorite casters have a jack buff, a defensive buff, and an offensive buff, so its hard to pick just one...

Give me a focus 6 or 7 caster with:

Blood Fury
Superority
Boundless Charge
Arcantrik Bolt

Maybe being a general, he's quite old and very experienced. He's focus 7 or 8, but so old that he walks with a limp and cane from an old battle wound, so he's speed 3, but is so well respected that he has a pet gun bunny that can drag him around every other turn or something in place of his normal movement, but can't use it to charge or something. He then comes with whatever the ability is that makes everyone fearless in his command range and then many more of those great general tactics that made him the general he is today.

I know I'm not listing specifics, but this is a wish list/place to be creative. I know this is far fetched, but I there is always a glitter of hope that something entertaining will come out of it.

Or, he could be an Ogrun which would be pretty awesome too!
