Thread: 50 pt eLyl list

  1. #1

    Default 50 pt eLyl list

Saw this, or something close to it, in a NQ and am going to try it out, gave it a sort of test run last week with a unit of Striders in place of the forsaken and shepards

    eLyl
    Ravagore
    Carni
    2 x NBT's
    full Raptors
    Annyssa
    Deathstalker
    2 x Shepherds
    2 x Forsaken

It's a bit beast heavy for eLyl, but the Shepherds and Forsaken can handle the excess, and her feat turn'll be nasty. Basic battle plan would be Ravagore flanked by nbt's in the center, Carni on one flank with a Shepherd, Deathstalkers, Raptors, and Annyssa on the other, with eLyl, the remaning Shepherd, and both Forsaken behind the Ravi/2nbt's. Thoughts, opinions?

To much fury management 4 for 4 beasts. You don't want to drain it all...

I'd drop a Shepherd and the Carni for Typhon.

If you don't play Typhon in your other list you might want to upgrade Carni like Jaster said. Typhon has higher RAT and more sprays, so it helps more against infantry swarms. His dmg output and survivability is very similar to Carnis. Otherwise you do have a bit excess fury managment. You could switch one Forsaken into second DS. The list is very close to the one Neutralyze brought to Gencon last year i think.

Shepherds were there more to help with her ltd control area, I'll give Typhon a try though, just not a huge fan of the sculpt
I got a word of warning for all you would-be warriors. When you join my command, you take on debit. A debit you owe me personally. Each and every man under my command owes me one hundred Cygnarian scalps. And I want my scalps. And all y'all will git me one hundred Cygnarian scalps, taken from the heads of one hundred dead Cygnus. Or you will die tryin'-Kommander Oleg Strakhov

The beast load out is fine. The mat 6 on the Carni is the problem IMO. So swaping in Typhon is a great idea.

I have been using 2 ravs, NBT, and an Angel. It has been working very well. The repulse comes into play more than you would think.

I thought about Angelius, but worry about it's staying power in games that big, Carni/Typhon can wreck a heavy in one turn, Angel needs it to be already weakened to kill it in one go.

    -edit- How about this?
    eLyl
    Carni
    Ravi
    2 x NBT's
    1 x Shredder
    full Raptors
    Annyssa
    2 x Shepherds
    1 x Forsaken
    1 x Deathstalker
