    Hey All,

This is my first post yay! I have scoured the net looking for black and white pictures of units so I could try and photoshop color schemes (saw this mentioned on a few websites) and I can't find a single picture. Can anyone show me the way????

You can use photoshop to color images, but you don't know how to make a picture black and white?

edit: if the answer to that question really is 'yes', then go to image>mode>greyscale to discard the color information then just change the mode back to RGB afterwards. Or press alt + ctrl + U to bring up the hue/saturation menu and move the saturation slider to -100 (to the left) to neutralize the color.

I am mostly painting Cryx and the images I see are generally too dark to do anything with. Some of them are workable but most not so much.

Oh. That's a bit different. Your best bet would either be to have someone make you a coloring book, or find pictures of other people's cryx that have been painted brighter colors and greyscale those.

Regardless, I'd recommend asking this on the Painting sub-forum. Someone may have a resource to use, or you might find some pics of unpainted plastic models or something to color over.

Take the photos from the main pp website, they usually have default jpgs. Or capture image using prntscr button. Then pasting it into photoshop.
If you have photoshop theres no reason you couldnt boost the exposure on some of these images. When youre coloring are you doing it with just a colorize? Couldnt you then do a mask to just mask off the color of what you want to color? If you have any questions I can answer them or it seems lanz could too.
