pMagnus Most Wanted 50 pts

I wanted a pMagnus list, and to use my Idrians, so I made this. It hits Tier 4 of Most Wanted.

I have yet to give this list a try (and likely won't be able to until our Journeyman finishes, at least it'll all be painted by then!). I took the Mariner because it can retain it's range while on the move, with Magnus as the loader. As for the free upkeeps at the start of the game, Iron Aggression on the Mangler, Temper Metal on a Renegade/Mariner, and Blur on Magnus/Mariner depending on how much shooting I can expect.

I couldn't think of any other reinforcements than Croe's. Now that they can get into people's back arcs, they're nasty.

....as for the free upkeeps at the start of the game, Snipe on the Idrians....

Magnus only get to start the game with upkeeps on his battlegroup as a result of the tier. but he wont have any problem casting it on the first turn.

i like the list, looks solid.
with possibilities to lay down hurt at good range one turn from the jacks before getting into melee. and the Idrians are cool.

Ah, my mistake. But like you said no problems with casting there.

I think the list will run into problems against massed stealth and massed high ARM, but that's about all I can think of at the moment.

I would drop the Mariner for Stannis, Kell Bailoch, and Orin Midwinter.

You have enough warjack whump, and the additional troop and solo support will help massively.
