I just had this curious thought...are Colossals considered FA:C? If not...then does that mean a Machine Wraith can hijack a colossal? THat's gotta be a bother if you need a 3pt solo to take out a 20pt unit
Thoughts?

Colossals are FA:2. That I know. I am unsure as to how Machine wraiths will affect/be affected by this. Good thought...
Why is all the pirate gone?
Need Moar Pirates...
Just wait until he realizes that Gorman can incapacitate a Colossal for 2 points. <.<

It's been a while since I played Gorman myself, but if I recall correctly Black Oil causes the model to suffer -4 to MAT and DEF, it can't make ranged attacks, and has to sacrifice either movement or action. I imagine that this'll be pretty crippling to Colossals, although it is only limited to a 6" range or so.
Disruption I'm not entirely sure about -- odds are, Colossals may have a relatively high number of initial attacks. Even if they can't be boosted, they'll still be able to walk around and perform all their attacks...
And if you're worried about Disruption, there's always the Agonizer, which can park something like 9" away and effectively Disrupt your Colossal without even making an attack. :P

Yeah there are a lot of questions and unknowns about the colossals. I think Gorman could be pretty ridiculous on them. It's pretty sad to think of all the things that could shut down 20 pts. of your army if the rules work the same as WarJacks. I have to think they must of thought of stuff like this.
I'm wondering if we will get a points discount on ours along with some lower stats. Meaning that they will expect us to buff ours with choirs, ignite, other stuff. Will we even be able to buff ours with choir? Will I be taking a mechanic and a vassal just to follow these guys around?
It could be that the Judicator will cost 18 pts. for us, then we add choir + vassal + mechanic for 23pts. total.
On the other hand, I would usually prefer Gorman black oiling this than my caster unless I'm running the Harbinger.
Some of the not-quite-confirmed-but-very likely rules for this include: Cannot move or be moved outside of activation, so Enliven is mostly useless. It remains to be seen if Ancillary attack will be worthwhile. If all you get is a single skyhammer or fist punch out of an ancillary attack, then I'd consider the Vassal skippable.

could you back that with an official quote?
Painted models do 15% better in game than non-painted models, that's just science!
Maybe you need 2 Wraiths, one for each side, lol.
Or per haps just the wraiths will be errata'd to only effect jacks up to one base size larger & there will be a Large Chr Wraith for cryx. I can dream, can't I?
According to the new NQ spoilers thread, the colassals cannot be taken control of so no machine wraith. If that proves true, this is a non issue (:
