    Default Kraken interactions being a Warjack

    (I don't think anyone's posted specifically this yet.)

    Now that NQ has confirmed that Colossals are Warjacks, and we already knew they were part of the Battlegroup, here is a list of Caster interactions as such:

    Witch Coven
    Infernal Machine, Feat (to give Pseudo-Stealth)

    Mortenebra
    Spectral Steel
    Terminal Velocity

    Scaverous
    Death Ward

    eSkarre
    Seas of Fate
    Death Ward

    Terminus
    Ravager

    eGoreshade
    Phantom Hunter

    Goreshade
    Shadowmancer (only Dark Shroud)

    Add stuff if I missed it.
    Also, the Warwitch Siren should work as well as the ILO, but the Colossals can't recieve Stealth.

    War Room: Although $60 for digital cards vs $200 for physical card is a great deal, overcharging for the full list building function is not. The code did not have to be tied together. Separate the list creator from the card library, and charge a reasonable amount for it. Thank you. (And yes, I can afford the $60, it's the principle of the matter.)

    Interesting to note that, as I read it, while you get the D6 healing from the Salvage ability, you don't get the +3 to the roll that Heavy Warjack markers provide as the Kraken isn't a Heavy Warjack...

    Has it been confirmed that Collossals cant receive stealth? Kinda lame, but i suppose it fits.

    You forgot overrun with Morty. True, the thing can't move from overrun, but it can still trigger it. And with the Unicorn Cannon, I'd be willing to bet it has a pretty good chance of doing so.

    I can just imagine the possiblilities with Morty. Just park her behind the Kraken, using interface to pop off shots, and repairing any damage he takes with both her and a couple of N-techs. This makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

    It isn't the warjack spells I'm excited about. Seeing the mini gun and unicorn cannon just makes me think Black Spot.

    Also Death Ward isn't warjack only as far as I recall though it dies have a warjack specific component I suppose.

    Urgh, if all these combos actually work the way we're thinking they do...then...*shudder*

    If eSkarre could still affect large+ base models with her feat, then she'd be gross with the Kraken in combination with Seas of Fate/Death Ward/Black Spot.

    I'd be interested to read what other factions can achieve with existing warcasters and faction models (poor Darius is finally getting his day!).

    im really looking forward to getting the kraken its one of the few minis ive been truly excited about for a long while. i bought back my old cryx army almost entirely for the excuse to buy and use one. it might be the only way i'll muster up the energy to glue all mortenbras fiddly claws together. been putting that off for ages.

    If its got a nice reliable gun then it'l be nice for overrun.

    Not to mention overrun ON it to make it move.

    Which NQ issue confirmed that Colossals are warjacks? The most recent one? Would like to get confirmation as it might prove interesting to Machine Wraith users like me.

    Colossals cannot be taken control of, advance outside their activations, be placed, or gain Stealth or Incorporeal from what I remember.

    Darn good point on satyxis, guaranteed that jack won't be dying while you plug 22 points of damage onto the caster

    The Colossal is precisely the reason they nerfed the feat though.

    Welp, at least they can still be Blinded...Gorman and eMorg going Trolololol, but only one of them you see with any regularity.

    I believe they also have the one rule BEs have, can't be knocked down, Pathfinder and all of that..

    And while they can't be knocked down, they can still be Deathchilled, though they are still have guns to shoot with. Which if you go further I guess can be mitigated by engaging them with an incorp model, and hope they don't have anything nearby that can sling anything magical at it. =p

    They will likely have weapons platform as a rule, cause the point was to not have them shut down by 4 points of stuff (PW + MW).
    Though Gorman is still laughing out loud. :-/

    Yeah, most likely, forgot about that one.

    As far as what we can bring, I think Deathward will be pretty awesome with these guys, having all those damage grids to choose from, assuming they don't tweak the rules on that, making you stay on the same grid assuming it's a left/right thing.
