We had some confusion on shifting stones and teleporting a warbeast:

Where do you start to measure the 8" from? (warbeast or from any of the 3 stones)

Friend stated he was told that you measure the 8" from any of the three stones and not the model being teleported

Teleport from the warbeast's current position. "Place one friendly Faction model whose base is within the triangular area between them anywhere within 8" of its current location." The "its" refers to the model within the triangular area.

It works as written: you get to place the teleported model within 8 inches of it's current position. That means measuring from the model, not the stones. The arrangement of the stones triangle is just to help get more options to potentially teleport.
Note, however, that 'within' is different from 'completely within,' and means that you can shift a large based model around 10 inches, because it is legal if the back end of its base is touching 8 inches.

Got it, I was in line with that explanation and my friend said that made sense, but that a tournament player had corrected him several times that it was anywhere from the 3 stones. Good to know

Thank You for the info
