View Full Version : cavalry charge against a jack with vision and enliven

let's say I have two cavalry models charging a jack with vision and enliven. No other models are in the way, so Cavalry A moves, impacts the jack which "uses" vision. the charge is successful.
Cavarly B now moves and also impacts the jack, damaging it and tiggering enliven. Is cavalry B now allowed to keep moving and try to end his charge movement in melee range of the target? or does he stop with a successful charge too and then both cavarly A and B can then resolve the melee attack on any other model in range (not a charge attack)?

thanks for the clarification

A model continues moving after resolving impact attacks (which included the Enliven move in your scenario), and if the charge target is not in melee range at this point, it actually has to do that.

Remember that you can't change directions during a charge, though, so a savvy opponent will let you charge into nothingness (thus failing the charge).

so cavarly B has to keep moving and will likely fail the charge (depending on how the jack moved). how about cavalry A? his movement action officially ended with the target in range, so he can still make his attacks on a different target, right?

Correct, his charge was successful and if his target is no longer valid he can make initial attacks against another target, but there is no charge attack.
