Once again, TheIconJBG and Gatehouse Games (http://www.myspace.com/gatehousegames) are proud to bring to you a 500 point Steamroller tournament.

When: Saturday December 19th, store opens at 1PM, registration soon after, gaming starts at 2PM.

Entry fee: For those with fully painted armies, $10 product buy-in is all you need. Fully painted means a model has at least three colors and no primer showing, and base flock is nice.
Any armies with unpainted models need $15 of product.
But as more of an incentive to bring a fully painted army, there will be a painting contest held; details below.

If there is something specific you want to purchase for your product buy-in, PLEASE call ahead and order it or you may find yourself out of luck come game day. We have back issues of No Quarter available at $1 a piece for those over one year old and plenty of IK minis that mightbecome characters one day. But note, any product in the store counts for buy-in and not only Privateer models.

This is a MK 1 event. Players participating in this event should bring their own models, stat cards, dice, measuring devices, tokens, wreck markers, and templates required for play. The Tournament Organizer must approve any printed media used to track damage.

Players are permitted two different lists of the same faction for this tournament. Copies of each list will be presented to the TO and retained at all times. You may choose which list to play after meeting your opponent and learning the scenario for each match.
This will be a timed event, both for matches and for 10 minute timed turns. You are allowed one 5 minute extension per match. Dice down will be called at match time and the current action will be the last.

There will be breaks in between each round for participants to get food and stretch.

Painting/modeling contest
We at Gatehouse Games love a wonderfully painted model and now is the time you can be rewarded for it. There are two categories for this contest: models and terrain. Entry is free for every participant. Each participant may enter into each category once.

We will have an impartial judge on hand to determine the best entry through a number of categories including overall look of the model, creativity, atmosphere pertaining to a particular theme or use of basing techs, use of depth and general cleanliness of the work.

The modeling contest is terrain only and will be judged by about the same rules as above except with a little less leniency. To keep in theme with the climates our table portray, there are only three "types" available for entry: desert, swampland, and tundra. You are encouraged to model a piece of terrain for permanent use on one of these table types. It is permissible to create a faction appropriate piece for a climate, i.e. Legion/Khador in the tundra or Menoth/Skorne for the desert. Creativity is a huge plus for this contest, but keep it miniatures scale; accessible by some, not necessarily by all.

Any questions about the event can be directed to TheIconJBG (jeffreylgregg@gmail.com) and questions about the locale should be placed to Gatehouse Games.

Be seeing you!

Notice for those who wish to save a little money for the entry. Gatehouse Games is once again offering its Christmas list program. Here's how is works:

Turn in your Christmas lists this month
Someone else comes into the store and buys something for you off of your list
They save 10%
You get what you want

Remember, your Christmas list must be turned in earlier than the purchase and the buyer MUST mention they are purchasing off of your list.
