View Full Version : Question about Reveille (Fell Call)

The Fell Call states on the card,

"Knocked down friendly faction models in this model's command range immediately stand up. Models that were knocked down this turn are not affected by Reveille."

This means that at the start of my turn if i have knocked down models, first thing is to activate the Fell Caller, call Reveille, and everything stands up. Correct?

My mate today was trying to tell me that it means I need to have Reveille active, then things get knocked down and at the start of my maintenance phase they all stand up. So you sorta need to be proactive with it, rather than reactive. But to me this didn't sound right (I'm still very new, and he's not).

So i hoping I could get some clarification of that?

Your mate is wrong. The word "Immediately" is the tip-off there. Use a Reveille, and everything stands up, immediately.

(The second clause isn't relevant to your question, but it's there to prevent a nasty trick involving throwing your own models which showed up a lot in the MkI days of the game).
