Windfall states that non magical ranged attacks won't hit. I remember reading a discussion about magic and magical and found it confusing. A Revenant Cannon crew has the cannon shot with a magic symbol. Will this get through windwall?

Both Magic Attack and Magical Weapon Attack penetrate non-magical attack immune. That's why magical weapon ability exists

:Magic-Wpn: is a magical attack (a weapon with Magic Weapon advantage), a spell is a magic attack. So yes, that will beat Wind Wall.

Spells are never ranged attacks in the first place. They are magic attacks.

The only way for a ranged attack to be magical is to have (or gain) the Magical Weapon:Magic-Wpn:quality.

Note that the difference between magic and magical is intentional and quite significant.

This is correct.
