Hi!

I played a game the other day with eSkarre vs ehaley + Stormwall.
In short, I get my Deathjack prepped to charge Stormwall next turn and pos Skarre's feat, naming Deathjack as one of the models that cannot be attacked. In his turn, my friends drops a lightning pod behind DJ and gives it 2 points of damage, claiming it's an ability, not an attack.
Was he right?

Yes, it is just a damage roll, not an attack.

I believe that stormsmith stormcallers would get around that "can't be attacked" feat as well, since while they do target models with their abilities, those are skill checks and not attacks.

Correct as well.

And can that damage roll be boosted (via focus spending)?

Like all damage rolls that do not expressly specify otherwise on a model that has a way to boost, yes.

Electro-leap cannot boost, but Lightning Generator can I believe.

Electro-leap states in its description that it is unboostable. Otherwise you could boost it just fine.
