View Full Version : caustic presence vs. Aegis

I'm a little confused as to how these two rules interact.

caustic presence states that whatever continuous effect [fire] for Feora1, Feora2 and [corrosion] for Venethrax cannot expire in the models control area

aegis (Kreoss 2 and his elite cadre) states that continuous effects on this model automatically expire.

my question is which takes priority?

P.S. forgive me if I'm misquoting rules, I'm at work and don't have my protectorate cards.

Actually I believe Aegis says: This model is immune to continuous Effects

Because they are immune they never suffer the effect so caustic presence becomes irrelevant to those models

Correct. Aegis is immunity, thus continuous effects never land on them in the first place, so Caustic Presence has no effect.

However, against something like Kreoss1's Purification, Caustic presence would negate the removal of that continuous effect.
