I swear I read some where that frenzied beats ignore crippled aspects but when it came up recently I couldn't find it, am I taking silly pills or what? Do they?

You are taking silly pills. They don't ignore crippled aspects.

Nope. No ignoring aspects. I can see where you might think that since they get a boosted attack and damage roll and normally you don't get to boost without a Spirit, but nope, they still deal with the crippled aspects. Since it is boosted, if the Mind is crippled, it does roll 2 dice (as opposed to the 3d6 it would with an active Mind or the 1d6 it would for a regular attack with a crippled Mind).

Technically you don't get to FORCE while spirit is crippled. Not pointing this out to be rude or anything, but calling it not being able to boost is what the confusion is about in the first place.
Boosts from other sources like spells and what not are still boosting the rolls.
