View Full Version : Long Riders and Bull Rush mixed actions

This is an issue that's been brought up in our LGS due to my growing love of yon Tuffalo. Impact attacks happen during movement, so that's simple enough. During a Bull Rush, however, if a Long Rider model does a Slam, does the Slam (and follow up movement, but not attack) happen during movement, or does it just make the movement up to the model being slammed and do the actual slamming and follow-up during the combat action?

Either way makes sense, just never occurred to us 'cause we've never had slams happen within a multiple-model unit. It does make a huge difference in the way the slam is used. If the slam happens on each model's move, then it can be used to open lanes for the rest of the unit in the same manner as impact attacks. If it happens on combat action (seems most likely, now), it could make for interesting situations where another Long Rider either knocks it down with an impact attack before the slam is done, or no other tuffalo should try to charge the slam target else it be slammed out of melee range before they get a chance to swing.

You slamm after all models have moved. Only imp attacks and ride by interrupt move, that I can think of.
