What are the official tournament rules for properly identifying identical units within a single army?

Thanks!

From the tournament policies (https://privateerpressforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=23947&d=1400166932):

A player has two or more of the same model/unit, and they are not easily distinguished by their paint scheme or other markings. What is this player required to do?

To avoid confusion, duplicate models/units must be distinguished in some manner by the player who owns them. This can be done with markings on the base, paint schemes, tokens placed next to the model(s), or any method that clearly and physically indicates to the opponent the difference between the duplicates.

If a dispute arises between two players regarding duplicate models and the owning player has not clearly marked the models in some fashion, the owning player immediately loses the game.

Example:

• A player has two full units of Bane Knights in his army and these models are all unpainted and unmarked. A Bane Knight is destroyed in one unit, and Vengeance is triggered. However, the players cannot agree on which unit is benefitting from Vengeance because there are no distinguishing marks on any of the Bane Knight models: Because no resolution can be agreed upon by the players, the player that owns the Bane Knights loses the game.
