How are systems repaired after being critically amputated?

If drago crits and does one box of damage to a cortex it is crippled.
1. If they heal that one box next turn is it fully functional?

If drago crits and knocks out all three cortex boxes it is crippled.
2. If they heal one box next turn is the cortex functional again?

IIRC Critical Amputation makes you fill in all the remaining system boxes of any arm or weapon system that gets damaged. It just marks off the other 2 boxes in your case, effectively doing 2 more damage.

In either case, repairing one box will make the system functional again.

By the way, Critical Amputation doesn't do this to cortexes. It only effect arms and systems with an attached weapon.

Some jacks or beasts have an ability to remove damage. Warlocks can heal their beasts by spending a fury. Some units have the repair ability to remove damage from a model they are in base to base with. There may also be feats and spells which repair damage.

Critical Amputation has no effect on beasts.

So what happens as I can tell is the following,

1) Draigo does 1 point of damage to an arm system. Mark the remaining 2 damage boxes of the system and it is crippled.

2) Draigo does 3 points of damage to an arm system and it is crippled.

In either case, repairing 1 box of damage from the arms will make it functional again.
