View Full Version : Kraye's Horsepower feat - boosted impact attacks?

Been reading over Kraye and wanted some clarification on this:

Heavy warjacks in his battlegroup gain cavalry rules.
Cavalry can make impact attacks with its Mount.
Impact attacks are melee attacks.
"Mount attack and damage rolls cannot be boosted."
Kraye's feat gives warjacks boosted melee attack rolls.

I'm assuming that this means that heavy jacks that make impact attacks do not benefit from the boosted melee attacks of Horsepower. Is that correct?

Again, just wanted to verify. Thanks.

Warjacks affected by Iron Horse, have no mount to attack with. That is why Iron Horse tells you how to make an Impact Attack with a Heavy Warjack.

When a heavy warjack makes an impact attack...
Because they have no mount to make attacks with the Iron Horse ability tells you how the Heavy warjack does make an impact attack.
So the Impact Attacks made by Heavy Warjacks will be boosted from Kraye's Feat because they are not Mount attacks.

Also the Tactical Tip for Iron Horse, states this:

Warajacks can spend focus points to boost impact attack and damage rolls during their activations.
