I understand how Phantom Hunter/Seeker works with ranged attacks but am a little confused with how they interact with the Charge and Slam mechanics. Kaelysa casts Phantom Hunter on a Jack, the jack can now move through obstacles, terrain, and any other LOS considerations to hit the target of the charge/slam? Is there a requirement for the base to fit?

New player and this one is baffling me.

Thanks

Phantom Hunter only works in regards to LOS. It does not allow a warjack to charge through obstacles, forests, other models, or end its movement where there is not room for its base.

What it does allow a warjack to do is declare charge and slam attacks at targets it could not otherwise see.

Example: a Griffon Myrmidon under the spell Phantom Hunter may start on one side of a forest, and charge models on the other side. This could not normally be done because forests block LOS. Phantom Hunter allows you to ignore that LOS blocking.

it would also let you fire 3x with your manticore through a building or forest since you ignore LOS

redphantasm has the rest of it right. You cannot charge over obstacles unless you have pathfinder

thats why a griffon w/ kalyssa is so rockin ;)
