If a Bastion is hit with an attack which would trigger on destruction (or even boxed) and uses Sanguine Bond to shift damage to another model and then THAT second model is boxed or destroyed is the effect from the original attack triggered? It would seem that the actual model that dies, dies as a result of Sanguine Bond, NOT the actual attack? If that's the case, then Bastions seem even better than before.

Sanguine bond triggers the disabled and boxed stages if a model takes sufficient damage to be destroyed.

But who gets Disabled and Boxed - the model hit by the attack, or the model destroyed by Sanguine Bond?

The model that took damage sufficient to destroy it from Sanguine Bond.

Yep, the other model dies due to Sanguine Bond, thereby avoiding potential nastiness from the initial attack.
