I did do some searching on this forum, I just want to know if I have this right:
EP
TTTT
CG
E= Large based Warjack with reach weapon
P= Large based Heavy Cavalry model with reach weapon
T= Small based Trooper models
C= Small based Trooper with reach weapon
G= Medium based Trooper with reach weapon
Assuming each model is within melee reach range:
E can attack G since G has a larger base than the T models, but it cannot attack C due to C having the same size base as the T models.
P can attack G due to G's larger base, and it can attack C due to the "Tall in the Saddle" rule.
G can attack E and P since E and P are larger than the intervening T models.
C can attack E and P since E and P are larger than the intervening T models.
Am I corrrect? I know this has probably come up before, but I could not narrow my search down to specific enough examples. My computer skills are sadly very weak.
I just wanted to know because people at my local game store (people whose opinion I respect) think you cannot melee attack through intervening models at all unless you have at least a sliver of a sightline between their bases.
So, please tell me if I am correct or just crazy, either way is fine by me.:)
Thank you for your time.
