I did do some searching on this forum, I just want to know if I have this right:

EP
TTTT
CG

E= Large based Warjack with reach weapon
P= Large based Heavy Cavalry model with reach weapon
T= Small based Trooper models
C= Small based Trooper with reach weapon
G= Medium based Trooper with reach weapon

Assuming each model is within melee reach range:

E can attack G since G has a larger base than the T models, but it cannot attack C due to C having the same size base as the T models.

P can attack G due to G's larger base, and it can attack C due to the "Tall in the Saddle" rule.

G can attack E and P since E and P are larger than the intervening T models.

C can attack E and P since E and P are larger than the intervening T models.

Am I corrrect? I know this has probably come up before, but I could not narrow my search down to specific enough examples. My computer skills are sadly very weak.

I just wanted to know because people at my local game store (people whose opinion I respect) think you cannot melee attack through intervening models at all unless you have at least a sliver of a sightline between their bases.

So, please tell me if I am correct or just crazy, either way is fine by me.:)

Thank you for your time.

They all seem correct (provided the Cavalry model had permenant reach, or at least reach at the time of the attack).

Under Mk1 rules, you couldn't melee attack through an intervening model's base.

Under the current Mk2 rules, however, all you need is LOS and to have the target within your melee range. :)
