if a model is immune to blast damage does that also make it immune to the effects that may be coupled with the template used for the blast damage?

take a vanq for example would fox hole protect the models inside from the fire effect aswell as the blast damage? or would it work how i would expect and cause no damage to the models BUT still cause the fire effect since it is not immune to the fire effect and it causes no damage relating to the blast....

Continuous effects are seperate from blast damage.

Fox hole would stop the initial damage from the blast, but everyone would still catch fire.

You are only immune to blast damage. Other kinds of damage and effects are not stopped by that immunity. Some spells, like Breath of Corruption, don't do blast damage. Other effects, like continuous effects, or Critical Throw from a Mule would still happen.
