High,

Just wondering - is there a definitive answer on whether boomhowler and co. are in-faction for the purposes of being affected by Trollkin spells / feats etc.?

What about the interaction of fellcalls? Will Boomhowler's calls affect trollkin models, or will trollkin model fellcalls affect boomhowler and co? for example, if I run B&Co. with Grissel, and she pops her feat with them in her control area, can the unit still be affected by Boomhowler's call, or are they considered to have already received a fell call that turn?

Boomhowler is affect by anything that affects Trollkin

However, Grissel does not affect Trollkin she affects Trollbloods, which will not effect boomhowler since he is not a trollblood.

Boomhowler is a mercenary even in a Trollblood army. Any "Faction" buff from a Trollblood only works on Trollbloods. Ergo, would not work on Boomhowler.

Very case by case. At a glance it looks like you can expect Fell Calls from outside Boomhowler not to work. Fortunately Boomhowler provides his own Fell Calls.

He's actually a Minion in a Trollblood army, but the effect is generally the same. However, if you've got some Bone Grinders around, it does make a difference (because they're also Minions, so friendly Faction for them wouldn't apply if Boomhowler's boys were Mercs only.)

Fair point.
