I'll admit my searching skills are a bit weak, so i apologize if this was answered and i missed it. On top of that I can't find my rule book.

Anyway, just wondering if a model with gunfighter can make a ranged attack at models in melee if broadside is cast.

Thanks in advance.

Why wouldn't it be able to?

Yes. Gunfighter allows you to make a ranged attack in your melee range. It is specifically called out as being a ranged attack and that is the key

cause i was under the wrong assumption that gunfighter attacks are melee attacks and that broadside said soemthing like make a normal ranged attack.

Thanks guys, just wanted to make absolutely sure.

Gunfighter lets a model make ranged attacks while in melee. Point Blank lets models make melee attacks with their ranged weapons, which is likely what you were thinking of.
