View Full Version : A quick question about Choirs Hymns

Now the card says target a jack within 3". If there is no jack would you be able to say a hymn anyways and then charge forwards to get into range of a jack? Hymn lasts for a turn so it theoretically should last as a bubble and a jack that is within 3" at any point should get it.
Or is the 'target a Jack within 3"' the clinch point....

Activation order is what matters, it moves, then sings. If there is no jack in 3 inches no go.
Typical Menoth activation goes like this, choir moves, sings. Jack activates, makes enemy cry.

More specifically, singing is a *Action, which means it has to come after movement. This is as opposed to something like Rhupert's songs, which are so called anytime abilities and can be used before or after movement or even after an attack.

It should be pointed out however that each member can choose individually to make the chant. You can have some of the guys sing and other guys make melee attacks.

MORE specifically, you cannot charge and perform a *action.

Well ty for clarifying that. Need to take more care in my order of activations. My Choir usually ends up being left behind in the dust by turn 3, if they're still alive by then :p
