Hi all! Two quick questions...

1. How does Gang work on the charge? Two Scouts charge one model, will the second charging Scout only get the Gang bonus?

2. Does Quicken give the Scouts a 16 inch run because it states +2 speed and not +2 movement?

In answer to question 1 - You complete the movement for all models in the unit and then begin attacks. So, after moving all the models in the unit, you then check to see if gang is available to any particular model when it starts to make its attack.

As to question 2 if a spell or ability adds to speed then you multiply the movement and then add any speed modifiers. If you have a spell or ability that adds to movement add them to the movement stat and then multiply.

Other way round on point two Leo, if something adds SPD then it is also multiplied when you run.

Example:

An Axer under Quicken is SPD7, and runs 14"
An Axer under Rush is SPD5 and gains an additional 2" of movement for a total run of 12" (but with Pathfinder)

OK, this makes sense. Someone explained it the other way and it didn't seem right. Sweet, thanks!

What Leo said is incorrect :) see my post above

Completely opposite to this...

um not quite, accurate but confusing, allow me to clarify... Any ability or spell that adds to Speed (+2 SPD) is added to the base speed before doubling the speed for a run. If a spell of ability adds to movement (+2 movement) double the base speed then add the bonus.

1. base speed is 6 plus 2 spd for quicken = 8 spd doubled to 16" run.
2. Base speed is 6 plus 2 mov for Rush = 6 spd doubled to 12" run +2 for rush 14" total

To be clear on point two, modifiers to SPD are added before doubling for running. Modifiers to movement are added after doubling SPD when running.
