When you are using a spray template with a Jack with a focus and you are boosting to hit. Are you just boosting to hit a single model or all those underneath the template?

you have to boost to hit each model individually, unless the model has powerful attack.

I think that is absolutly ******** that I have to boost each individual under the template when I am boosting to hit with the spray.

Yeah you have to boost each individually but you can use sprays to get around not being able to target something with an attack and boost the one that matters.

Works just like anything else: One focus per boosted roll. Works that way for AoEs, for Thresher, et cetera. There is that one Rhulic 'jack with Powerful Attack on its spray, though, and that one consequently spends one focus to boost every attack and damage roll for the spray. It's kinda nice. But, as others have said, unless you have Powerful Attack, it's one focus per boost.

eIrusk's spell Fire for Effect full boosts all attack and damage rolls for a spray or AOE as well

You pay for each boosted roll separately, and this is not a tactics forum so please refrain from listing exceptions when asked about a rule.
